A management consultant by day and professional triathlete by night (and weekend), Brian embodies the unbridled enthusiasm that makes crazy multi-tasking triathletes so incomprehensible, yet also so unique. After a successful 13-year amateur career winning the USAT National Championship, finishing runner-up at the ITU World Championship, and winning overall at the AC 70.3, he is now a newly minted pro for 2017 after succumbing to the pressures that are Slowtwitch forum posters. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Philadelphia Triathlon Club and is the proud founder of the Duke Triathlon Club, where he received his undergraduate degree. The consummate fan of all things triathlon, Brian wrote a business case identifying ways for USAT to grow its membership while earning his MBA from The Wharton School. Brian is looking forward to competing in the Escape Series and is grateful for all those involved in Making Olympic Distance Great Again!
